Fees & discounts
- • A one-time $125 Enrollment & Assessment fee applies to monthly plans. It's waived on quarterly & annual plans, bulk tutoring packs, a 2nd sibling, or a 2nd course.
- • Monthly plans hold one month as a deposit that applies to your notice period when you leave.
- • Siblings and second courses get 10% off the additional enrollment — and the registration fee waived.
- • A 3% surcharge applies to credit-card payments. Pay by ACH, Zelle, or cash to skip it.
- • Textbooks and Unik LMS access are included on all courses, AP, and Gifted — never a separate charge.
Refund policy
Withdraw before classes start: full refund of everything paid.
Withdraw after classes start (prepaid plans): we recalculate at the standard monthly rate for months used, add back the registration fee and any sibling discount, and refund the rest.
Tutoring programs: Tutoring programs (hourly and bulk/package) are non-refundable. Unused hours are held as account credit valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. An hour is delivered when the scheduled session is held, whether or not the student attends, subject to our rescheduling policy; our attendance records are conclusive unless you notify us in writing within 7 days. What is Prepaze Academy?
Prepaze Academy is a K-12 tutoring and test-prep provider offering small-group classes and 1:1 tutoring in Math, English, Science, AP, Gifted & Talented, and SAT/ACT prep. We teach in person at our centers in Apex and Morrisville, North Carolina and Dublin, California, and live online across the United States.
Where are Prepaze Academy's locations?
We have in-center locations in Apex, NC; Morrisville, NC; and Dublin, CA, plus live online classes available nationwide. Online classes use the same curriculum and small-group format as our in-center programs.
Do you offer online tutoring?
Yes. Live, small-group online classes are available for every subject and grade, taught by our teachers with the same personalized approach as in-center. You can join from anywhere in the U.S. and pick times that fit your family.
What grades and subjects do you cover?
We serve students from elementary through high school across Math, English, and Science, plus AP courses, Gifted & Talented enrichment (including AMC and competition prep), SAT/ACT test prep, and School Support (homework help). In North Carolina we follow NC state standards; in Dublin we follow the California Integrated Math pathway.
How much does Prepaze Academy cost?
Small-group monthly classes typically range from about $99 to $320 per month depending on the grade level, subject, and location. Ongoing SAT/ACT prep is $370/month, and intensive SAT/ACT packages and 1:1 private tutoring hour-packs are also available. Monthly plans include a one-time registration and assessment fee; quarterly and annual plans offer the best value.
Do you prepare students for the Digital SAT?
Yes. Our SAT/ACT program is built for the Digital SAT with diagnostic-first remediation, real test strategies, and full-length adaptive practice tests on our Unik platform, available in person or online.
Do you offer a free trial or diagnostic assessment?
Yes. You can book a free trial class to experience a session, and an optional paid diagnostic assessment ($99 academic, $125 SAT/ACT) that pinpoints exactly where your child stands. The diagnostic fee is credited toward your program if you enroll in a quarterly or annual plan.
How small are the classes?
Classes are small, synchronized cohorts so every student gets individual attention. Learning plans are personalized to each child's level rather than a one-size-fits-all curriculum, and every course includes unlimited practice on the Unik platform.
Is there a sibling discount?
Yes. Additional children from the same family receive 10% off, available on request when you enroll your second (or later) child.
