SAT Prep at Prepaze Academy lifts scores with a diagnostic-first plan, not one-size-fits-all drilling. We start by finding the exact skills costing you points, remediate those gaps, then layer on the timing, elimination, and shortcut strategies that turn knowledge into a higher score. Taught in a small, synchronized cohort at 3 hours a week by friendly, patient coaches who make the test feel manageable. The full SAT Prep syllabus, taught in order and revisited until it sticks.
- ✓Digital SAT Reading & Writing — command of evidence, grammar rules that cover most questions
Short passages with one question each, plus a small set of recurring grammar points — punctuation, transitions, verb agreement. Students practice identifying which rule a question tests before reaching for an answer.
- ✓Math — Heart of Algebra, problem solving & data analysis, advanced math
Linear equations and systems, ratios and percentages read off tables and graphs, and quadratics. Word problems are the usual sticking point, since translating a situation into an equation is its own skill.

The digital SAT adjusts the second module based on the first, so early accuracy carries weight. Students practice a per-question time budget and a clear rule for flagging a question and coming back.

Multiple-choice techniques: testing the answer choices, substituting convenient numbers, ruling out what cannot be true. They help when the algebra is slow, though students still need the underlying method.

Small-group class
A set weekly schedule, a cohort moving through the full syllabus together, and the discussion that comes from working alongside other students at the same level. This is the main programme for most families.
1:1 private tutoring
Hours bought as a pack and scheduled around your student, with the whole session spent on exactly what they need — a topic they missed, an upcoming exam, or a subject moving faster than the class.

SAT Prep — questions parents ask
How are SAT Prep classes taught?
3 hours per week · small cohort. Prep book + full-length practice tests + score reviews included. Classes are small synchronized cohorts, so the group moves through the full syllabus together while pacing stays matched to each student's level.
Where can my child take SAT Prep?
In person at our Apex, NC; Morrisville, NC; and Dublin, CA centers, or live online from anywhere in the United States. Online classes use the same curriculum, the same small-group format and the same Unik platform.
Is SAT Prep aligned to my child's school curriculum?
Yes. In North Carolina we follow NC state standards; in Dublin, California we follow the California Integrated Math pathway. Online students are taught the standards for their own state.
Should we choose a small-group class or 1:1 tutoring?
A small-group class is the right fit for keeping pace with school across a term. 1:1 private tutoring suits a specific gap or a deadline, since the whole hour goes on exactly what that student needs. Families often use both.
